AGASupport is the name I came up with to identify my software and support offerings. When I first started using it I had a website about linux support. Since then I’ve moved onto writing software primarily for MacOS and iOS devices as offered by Apple computer. My day job is writing telecommunications software, primarily protocol stacks. My side projects are what is found here. I’d like one day to have a healthy  enough offering of side projects to sustain me should something go awry with my day job. Here’s hoping.

Agathezol is an alias I’ve used online for over a decade. I don’t know where it came from originally. I was told by someone once that I stole it from an IRC channel. I guess it is possible. If you search for “agathezol” on google most of what you find is me. I was born in 1977. I’ve been writing code since 1993. So I’ve been programing for more than half my life. You’d think I’d be better at it.

I’ve been playing music since I was around 10 years old. I started on the trumpet. Learned to play piano shortly after starting. I’ve since learned a wide variety of instruments: trumpet, piano, guitar, saxophone, trombone, drums etc. Basically if it is an instrument I can probably make it sound like music, not good music, but music. I’ve played in a band with a couple other guys for a few years.

I have two lovely children and a beautiful wife. A dog, two cats, and basically live the American dream from the 50s and 60s. I hope to be as contributory to the world around me as my parents are. I hope to give back more than I take. As of yet I don’t think I’ve succeeded in that, but I do try.
